NIGHT FOR NOTABLE WOMEN

- Our annual celebration of women features a lecture, coffee, and elegant desserts from area restaurants.

HISTORY MUSEUM SPEAKER SERIES
- Monthly, September - June
- The speaker series is one of the oldest of its kind in the Commonwealth, having been produced annually since 1957. Political leaders, authors, professors, military officers, and many more have all participated in the series which serves more than 1,000 people annually.
- Sponsorships up to $1,500
PAINT FOR PRESERVATION
- Held annually in the Spring
- Two art-filled days to benefit the Historical Society of Western Virginia. One Saturday can be spent witnessing the creation of art at three local endangered sites. The following Friday evening is for cocktails and live music with an auction of the event's artistic creations.
- Title Sponsorship: $5,000
FANTASYLAND
- Held annually, November - December
- Fantasyland serves an average of 5,000+ visitors each year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This number includes area children that come in groups on school outings as well as parents, grandparents, and adults that still get sparkly-eyed at the thought of Christmas and Santa Claus. Fantasyland will be held at the Dumas Center this year (2011).
- Sponsorships up to $1,500
Corporate Sponsorship includes membership in the Historical Society's MBA (Museum Business Association) Program.
